The star Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh expressed his gratitude towards the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his encouraging letter which heaped praises on the cricketer’s charity work through his foundation.
The cricketer from Punjab launched an initiative called ‘Youwecan Foundation” in the year 2012 which looks to help the cancer patients by increasing awareness among the people and to remove the disgrace associated with it.
In the letter, Modi wrote, “Dear Yuvraj, It is with great joy that I received your letter. I am delighted to know about your deep passion towards social service and the rich community service you are involved in through your foundation.”
Yuvraj took to Facebook to thank the Prime Minister for his. Posting the picture of the letter, the left-handed batsman wrote, “It”s an absolute honor & privilege for all of us here at Youwecan to receive such an encouraging letter from Hon”ble Shri @narendramodi ji himself. We at @youwecan strongly believe that each one of us together can change the world and it”s not what you”ve got, its what you use that makes a difference. There is no greater reward than making someone else”s life better and making a difference in the world.”
