With each day passing by in the Indian Premier League (IPL), cricketers are coming up brilliant catches and fielding. Sunrisers Hyderabad youngster Priyam Garg produced a master hitting the bullseye to remove Glenn Maxwell and putting his side on top in the contest.

Chasing a massive total of 202 runs, Punjab would have a wanted a good start from their in-form players – KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal. However, much to their dismay, Kings XI Punjab lost their both their openers cheaply followed by Prabhsimran Singh, who is playing his game in IPL 2020.

Since then, Nicholas Pooran took the onus on himself hitting Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad for 43 runs in a span of just 2 overs. In the process, he brought the fastest fifty of IPL 2020  of just 17 balls. Just when it looked like Kings XI Punjab are taking control, Priyam Garg produced a brilliant effort to end the partnership to have Punjab at 105 for four.

T Natarajan bowled at yorker length as Glenn Maxwell jams it to extra cover and the Punjab batters decide to go for the risky single. Priyam Garg, positioned at covers, collected the ball cleanly and hits the bullseye at the bowler’s end to catch Maxwell short of his crease.

Brilliant work from the youngster as he had only one stump to aim at. Second run-out of the innings as Glenn Maxwell didn’t wait for the third-umpires decision.

Earlier in the day, Kings XI Punjab pulled things back in the last five overs after David Warner and Jonny Bairstow gave a prolific start. Both set off aggressively but Warner took a step back when Bairstow started to find the boundaries after the powerplay.

They reached their respective landmarks and only when Bairstow was nearing his hundred did he slow down, that caused all the mayhem. Bairstow fell three short of his century while Warner chipped in with 52 before Punjab pulled things back. They managed only 41 runs in the last five overs losing six wickets to manage to post 201 runs.
