PSL Is Better Than IPL Says Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Najam Sethi!

In an exclusive press conference, Pakistan Cricket Board chief Najam Sethi releases a shocking statement claiming ‘Pakistan Super League is better than the Indian Premier League.

Pakistan Super League 2023 concluded after the final match taking place between the Multan Sultan and Lahore Qalandars, where the Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultan by 1 run and lift the trophy.

PCB chief Najam Sethi shockingly revealed that the PSL received much more viewership than the IPL. PSL viewership reached 150 million compared to the 130 million viewership of IPL.

Najam Sethi is been known for making controversial statements across cricket matches and tournaments, and this time is no different than the others, as his claims are irrational with no solid justifications and facts.

The PSL winning team won a whopping amount of 3.4 crore rupees

Lahore Qalandars won their 2nd title in Pakistan Super League 2023. They became the first side to retain their title in the PSL. On the contrary, the IPL 2022 winner Gujarat Titans won a sum of 20 INR crore rupees for winning the trophy.

The final match of PSL was dramatic and kept the viewers on the edge of their seats, as batting first Lahore Qalandars scored 200 runs in the 20 overs they batted with the required run rate of 10.01 per over for the opposition.

Abdullah Shafique, and Shaheen Afridi, shines in the batting as Shafique scored 65 runs off 40 balls with a strike rate of 162.5 and Shaheen Afridi scored 44 runs in just 15 balls with a strike rate of 293.3

On the other hand, Multan Sultans while chasing started off a decent track with good partnerships between Mohammad Rizwan, and Rilee Rossouw as they kept the side in the match with their terrific knocks of 34, and 52 runs respectively.

Shaheen Afridi with his all-around performance was the man of the match and he played a critical role in the match and turned it in his team’s favour.
