Cricketers have now turned into Instagram influencers as they always try and follow the latest trends on social media. In a video posted by Punjab Kings (PBKS), we can see the full Punjab team follow an Instagram trend ahead of their game against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Punjab Kings have sent their fans into laughing splits, they have also done other Instagram trends and have been successfully able to make the fans laugh and melt their hearts with such wholesome videos at the same time.

In the video, we can see that Odeon Smith is shouting at the players who are holding mattresses. As soon as Odean shouts, one of the Punjab players falls behind the other one in a domino effect. Effectively, everyone falls on the mattress and their teammate, which makes it a funnier video.

Punjab Kings go down against Delhi Capitals after poor display with the bat

Delhi Capitals started off superbly in the powerplay, with Sarfaraz cutting loose with a 16-ball 32 cameo despite losing David Warner in the first ball of the match. Mitchell Marsh played another crucial hand, his second on the trot, to keep the innings together.

The Aussie all-rounder changed gears according to the situation of the game for his 48-ball 63, including three sixes. However, it was Liam Livingstone who produced a superlative effort with the ball, to turn things around. Arshdeep Singh also chipped in with crucial contributions with the ball to restrict Delhi to an average total of 159 runs.

While it looked like an easy chase after Jonny Bairstow’s breathtaking start but Punjab Kings lost the plot as the game progressed. Despite Jitesh Sharma‘s valiant efforts with the bat, Punjab fell short by 17 runs after some brilliant bowling from Shardul Thakur and Axar Patel.

With this defeat, Mayank Agarwal and Co’s chance of making it to the playoffs hang by the wire. Apart from winning their last game, they will have to look to other results to make it to the top four.
