Rajasthan Royals: RR’s Best Playing 11 After IPL 2026 Auction

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) just played their IPL 2026 auction card at Abu Dhabi, claiming nine players, thus making significant strategic changes in their squad for the next season. By making these acquisitions, which focused on the team’s balance issues from the previous season, the franchise made its intentions clear. The auction was a testament to their determination to improve the batting as well as the bowling departments, thereby making a perfect season in 2026.

Rajasthan’s premier player transaction came with the procurement of the leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, paying ₹7.20 crore for him, which was almost half of their total auction spending. The credentials of Bishnoi as a spinner of great skill and experience made him the first choice, and it is not doubtful that he will directly join the RR playing XI as their main spinner. Besides controlling the middle overs, Bishnoi’s taking of important wickets on spinning pitches adds to the franchise’s bowling department.

Before the auction, Rajasthan had already made a major trade with the Chennai Super Kings, acquiring the all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran for the former captain Sanju Samson.
