Karnataka has continued their dominance over Vidarbha on the 2nd day of Ranji Trophy 2017/18 edition. Karun Nair is still not out on 148 which put Karnataka in a decent position. 2nd Semi-finals- Karnataka vs. Vidarbha ( Eden Garden’s, Kolkata)
Starting the day on 36 for 3, the duo of Karun Nair and CM Gautam played with positive intent. Both of them took singles and hit bad balls away boundaries. Nair and Gautam reached their half centuries. Before the lunch break, Gautam was dismissed for 73 runs. After the lunch break, Gurbani and Sarwate reduced Karnataka to 225 for 8. Karun Nair completed his century, is still out there at the crease with 148 runs. Both Vinay Kumar and Nair added 69 runs for the 9th wicket so far.
