Chennai Super King’s veteran allrounder and the backbone of the side recently in a show on Star Sports shared a special bond between the 2 Mahendras that had been in his cricketing career.

Ravindra Jadeja admits that his cricketing career revolved around his coach Mahendra Singh Chauhan, and the team’s captain and legendary player Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

He further adds that it’s been an honour to play under the guidance of his coach and his captain “Mahendra”. He shares a special bond with these people and gives them credit for his success in cricket.

Ravindra Jadeja is again set to be a part of the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023, as Chennai Super Kings takes on the defending champion Gujarat Titans in the inaugural match.

Ravindra Jadeja has been an integral part of the side, as with his brilliant all-round performances in both bat and bowl has managed the team to gain an X-factor advantage in the matches against the opposition.

Ravindra Jadeja has scored 2502 runs in the 210 matches played at an average of 26.62, with a career-best of 62 highest runs, and has taken 132 wickets in 210 matches played with the best figures of 5/16.

Ravindra Jadeja would be keen to make a comeback in this year’s IPL

The last season as a captain seemed to be disastrous for him, as he had to hand over the captaincy back to Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the mid-way of the tournament.

It would be really interesting to watch whether Ravindra Jadeja can regain the glory through his performances, as the star-allrounder has been performing really well in the test series recently against Australia.

He shared the man of the tournament jointly with Ravichandran Ashwin for the test series against Australia. He would be looking forward to continuing his epic performance in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League 2023.
