The star T20I batter, Rinku Singh has been added to India A squad for the 2nd Four-day match against England Lions to be played at Ahmedabad from 24th January onwards. He is being named in the squad for the 3rd unofficial Test match.

It was a brilliant batting display by India A batters in the second innings. Chasing 490 runs to win, KS Bharat and Manav Suthar stitched a superb partnership for the 6th wicket that helped India A post 426 for 5 falling short of the target.

Rinku Singh has shown tremendous success in shorter formats with a brilliant unbeaten knock in the third T20I match against Afghanistan in Bengaluru putting on 190 runs for the 5th wicket along with Rohit Sharma who helped India recover to post 212 for 4.

He also made his ODI debut during the One-day international series against South Africa in South Africa. Rinku Singh scored 17 in his debut match at Port Elizabeth and then scored a quickfire 38 in the final ODI at Paarl which helped India post a competitive total.

Rinku Singh’s impressive first-class record
