The five-match ODI series between India and windies is all set to commence tomorrow. Both sides will look to finalize their playing XI for World cup 2019 as there are only limited games from now on.

Rishabh Pant, who has been in a good touch since the final test at England, was named in the ODI squad last week. While several experts predicted that Dhoni might get a rest, it is now obvious that Rishabh Pant will be playing only as a specialist batsman whereas keeping duties rests with “Thala”.

KL Rahul has been left out of the squad following his dismal performances in the test series. However, Rayudu found fortunate enough to fix to the spot. India will be trying to formulate a stable middle order in the five-match series. With a plethora of combinations, Kohli and his men will be looking to finish the series on a high. The top “3” hasn”t been altered as Rohit, Dhawan and Kohli are in the forms of their lives in limited overs.

Khaleel Ahmed has been added to assist Shami and Umesh and it will be interesting if India chooses to go with a triple spin combo in the form of Kuldeep, Chahal and Jaddu.
