Rishabh Pant And Pat Cummins Playfully Tease David Warner Following His Involvement In The Threads App

Rishabh Pant and Pat Cummins didn’t waste any time teasing David Warner after Meta’s newly launched ‘Threads’ app hit the social media scene. Known for his dance reels on Instagram, Warner has gained immense popularity, particularly among Indian fans.

In recent days, the world has been captivated by the emergence of a new social media app, ‘Threads,’ launched by Meta. Within the first 24 hours of its release, the app has broken records, amassing a staggering 30 million downloads.

Numerous celebrities from around the world have joined the platform and made their presence felt, including several cricketers. The latest addition to the ‘Threads’ trend is Australian cricket star David Warner.

David Warner has garnered a significant following as a social media sensation, with his dance videos on Instagram captivating audiences for several years. His use of Indian songs, particularly Telugu, has endeared him to Indian fans.

Noticing Warner’s entry onto the new micro-blogging site, Australian captain Pat Cummins wasted no time in playfully cautioning Warner against posting dance videos on the platform.

Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicket-keeper and full-time captain of Warner’s IPL team, the Delhi Capitals, joined in the amusement, offering his support with the comment, “Best Advice Bro.”

For those unfamiliar, ‘Threads’ is Meta’s latest application, adding to their already popular lineup of social media platforms, which includes Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. ‘Threads’ is seen as a formidable competitor to Twitter.

Warner and Cummins currently find themselves in the midst of the third Ashes Test, a closely contested battle after two eventful days of cricket. With Australia leading the series 2-0, a victory would mark their first Ashes win on English soil since 2001.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant is currently undergoing recovery at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He is rehabilitating from injuries sustained during a near-fatal car accident in December of the previous year.
