After Rishabh Pant’s heroic 89 run knocks at the Gabba which saw Australia getting defeated at the Gabba after 33 long years was seen reuniting with his idol MS Dhoni in the latest Instagram post of Sakshi Singh Rawat. Rishabh Pant who is often touted as MS Dhoni’s successor across all three formals finally returned home in Delhi after spending close to 6 months in the bio bubble starting the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) to then travelling to Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

Rishabh Pant did not return home empty-handed but with the Border Gavaskar Trophy in hand along with the man of the match award for his 89-run knock in the 4th Test at Brisbane as the Indian Team finished the Australian tour with T20 and ODI series wins.

Rishabh Pant Reunites With Former India Skipper MS Dhoni

The 23-year-old Rishabh Pant who failed to play the 1st Test at Adelaide went on to become India’s highest run-scorer with 274 runs at an average of 68.50 which includes 2 fifties, one of which came during India’s miraculous draw at the Sydney Cricket Ground where Pant played an attacking knock of 97 runs before getting dismissed by Nathan Lyon.

In the follow-up after Rishabh Pant returned home, he was seen catching up with MS Dhoni and his wife according to the latest Instagram post of Sakshi Singh Rawat. Rishabh Pant who was seen sporting a Tom & Jerry sweatshirt was seen posing in a picture that included MS Dhoni in a green party hat and his wife Sakshi Singh Rawat.

Sakhi captioned the post as “Missing you guys! @_kanvir7 @kabsssss.”

Now with both Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni retained by their respective franchises, we will soon be seeing them in action during the 2021 IPL season which is all set to take place in the month of April – May. Though Rishabh Pant will be seen back in action during the 4 match Test series against England starting in the month of February with the first two Tests all set to take place behind closed doors in Chennai.
