Rohit Sharma all set to achieve a feat in the West Indies T20I series

Indian opener Rohit Sharma is all set to achieve a mind-boggling feat in the West Indies series. He is just one hit away to become the first Indian to hit 400 sixes in International cricket.

Right now, the 32-year old has hit 52, 232 and 115 (Tests, ODI, T20I)sixes respectively. Currently, only two players are a part of this elite panel, Chris Gayle and Shahid Afridi.

It is to be noted that Rohit already has a truckload of records to his name in the shortest format of the game. He is now the leading run-scorer with 2539 at an average of 32. He also holds the top spot in the list of centurions too (4).

Rohit and his recent form in whites

After a long time, Rohit earned his place back in the Tests. He made a statement to his critics as he bagged the Man of the Series award on his comeback.

Given his form and T20 World Cup not so far, the management will be expecting him to be at his brutal best.

With Dhawan not in the side tomorrow, it will be interesting to see who opens alongside Rohit. With KL Rahul being the most likely option, there hasn”t been any official confirmation on the same.

The first game will be played at Hyderabad tomorrow.
