Mumbai Indians produced a thumping performance to rout Delhi Capitals and make their way to the IPL 2020 finals scheduled to take place on November 10. Except for Rahul Chahar, who had a poor day in the business, Mumbai dominated every second of the game to cruise through to the second final in consecutive years.

Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav’s gave a flurry start set the tone for Mumbai Indians after asked to bat first in the Qualifier 1. Despite losing skipper Rohit Sharma, they kept up the tempo keeping Delhi Capitals bowlers at bay. Although Delhi bounced back scalping three wickets in quick time, Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan’s late flourish guided Mumbai to 200.

While it looked like a difficult run chase, the first two overs in the second half put Delhi out of the race. They were reduced none for three thanks to a brilliant display of fast bowling from Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah. They tried to fight back courtesy Marcus Stoinis and Axar Patel but Bumrah’s tally of four wickets pushed Shreyas Iyer & Co completely out of the game.
