Rohit Sharma Set for Crucial England Tour

India are set to play a three-match ODI series during their upcoming tour of England. The series will be especially important for several players, particularly Rohit Sharma. Recently, questions have been raised about his form, fitness, and whether he will continue until the 2027 Cricket World Cup.

The right-handed batter featured in the recently concluded ODI series against Afghanistan at home and showed promising form in the final two matches, scoring 48 and 79. With the England tour approaching, attention will be on how he performs.

To strengthen his chances of playing in the 2027 World Cup, Rohit will need to deliver consistently, making this tour crucial for both his form and fitness. In 23 ODIs against England cricket team, Rohit has scored 846 runs at an average of 47, including three centuries and four fifties.

He also has an outstanding ODI record in England, scoring 1,428 runs in 27 matches at an average of 64.90, with seven centuries and seven half-centuries.
