Rohit Sharma didn’t waste much of a time to name the cricketer. He picked Sachin Tendulkar and Shaun Pollock as the retired cricketers he wants to bring back in the Mumbai Indians set up. Rohit and Tendulkar have worked in close quarters in the IPL taking Mumbai cricket forward.

“I would actually pick two cricketers; Sachin Tendulkar and Shaun Pollock. I would like to want them back in the Mumbai Indians team,” Rohit Sharma said.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was quick to respond to Rohit Sharma. The former India cricketer said that he would love to open with Rohit Sharma. It would have made a great pair if Tendulkar and Rohit opened and would give nightmares to the bowlers.

“Would be fun to open with you @ImRo45,” Sachin Tendulkar responded.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma last turned up during the T20I series against New Zealand. He suffered a finger injury and subsequently missed the ODIs and Tests. He will next feature during IPL 2020, which will get underway from September 19 in the UAE. Mumbai Indians will look to defend the title and bring home their fifth trophy.
