Newly appointed limited-overs skipper Rohit Sharma shared an adorable birthday wish for his wife Ritika Sajdeh who turned 34 on December 21 (Tuesday).
Sharing a picture of Ritika, Rohit Sharma captioned his Instagram post, “Happiest birthday my one and only ❤️❤️❤️ continue to be who you are, it’s very attractive.”
Rohit Sharma had marked the occasion by posting a touching video collage on Instagram and wrote, “6 years and counting.”
Rohit Sharma ruled out of the Test series against South Africa
Rohit Sharma, who was rested from the Test series against New Zealand, has been ruled out from the three-match Test series against South Africa due to a hamstring injury. Priyank Panchal has replaced him in the squad for the series starting on 26th December in Centurion.
The Mumbai Indians captain is currently working on his fitness in NCA. He will hope to regain his full fitness before the ODI series that starts on 19th January. This will be his first ODI series as a full-time captain.
India will hope to begin their limited-overs campaign on a blazing note with an eye on the T20 World Cup in Australia followed by the ODI World Cup in India in 2023.
