The second ODI between India and Australia saw heartwarming scenes as an Indian guy proposed an Australian girl for marriage in the stands during Indian innings. It was all cheers as the video turned up in the big screens before getting an approval from Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

Chasing a mammoth total of 390 runs, Indian batters recuperated well from the first match and produced a good effort. Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal got off to a flying start before Australia pegged back in with two back to back wickets.

Reeling at 60 for two, skipper Virat Kohli took over the onus and steered the run chase alongside Shreyas Iyer. He pierced the gaps easily while the odd boundaries kept coming to keep India in the hunt. India were cruising through the 150-run mark before a man was seen proposing a woman in the Sydney stands in between the overs.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli carried on with his good show after missing on the last game to bring his 59th ODI fifty. Although Shreyas Iyer departed thanks to a brilliant catch from Steve Smith, recently-appointed vice-captain KL Rahul paired well with his skipper to carry on the chase.

The game is currently well-poised with the visitors needing 184 runs from 107 balls with seven wickets to spare.
