Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his 51st birthday by playing football with underprivileged girls in Mumbai. The legendary cricketer was engaged by featuring in football matches with young girls. Sachin’s wife Anjali supported him and interacted with girls. It was a great moment for him.

Sachin was happy that he enjoyed playing football with the girls and revealed that the girls were the first ones to wish him a birthday. The underprivileged girls are a part of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation.

Sachin Tendulkar was seen serving food on banana leaves and fed with watermelon and fruits. He also cut the birthday cake as everyone sang happy birthday together. The girls gave tough competition to Sachin for the game of football. It was a great scene as girls played with full energy rather than being intimidated by the legendary cricketer.

“What a way to kick off my birthday week! I had so much fun playing football, sharing stories, and cutting my birthday cake with these incredible girls who are supported by the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. They were the first ones to wish me, and it made my week truly special!” the post’s caption read.

Sachin Tendulkar eventually realized his dreams of winning the World Cup played at home in 2011 in front of his home crowd in Mumbai.

On his birthday, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh shared a heartfelt video for the legend on X. In the post, Yuvraj wrote, “Happy birthday paaji! From smashing bowlers on the field to smashing life goals, you’re the reason I learned to aim higher in life (and sometimes on the field too). Here’s wishing you loads of love, good health and happiness always.”

“When Sachin Tendulkar used to play those gorgeous straight drives I had a privilege to stand on the non striker’s end. This is the story that will be told to my grandkids. May you have a blessed birthday with happiness, health and an abundance of Karisma which u carry with u all the time. Happy birthday, paaji,” tweeted Irfan Pathan.
