Team India has a massive fan following all over the world. While the wins are celebrated like a festival among fans, they get affected a lot by the defeats as well. After India’s 10-wicket defeat to England in the semi-final at the Adelaide Oval, there is certain sadness and anger among the fanbase around the world.

While many shared their thoughts after that, batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar shared a thoughtful message for fans across the country and shared that in cricket like life there are always two sides to the coin and we should be able to accept defeats if we celebrate the wins.

“A coin has two sides, so does life. If we celebrate our team’s success like our own then we should be able to take our team’s losses too… In life, they both go hand in hand,” wrote Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter.

However, Team India reached the semi-final after being topped by their Super 12 group with four wins in five matches. Despite a defeat to South Africa, they comfortably reached the knockout stages with wins against Pakistan, Netherlands, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe.

However, in the all-important semi-final, England beat them in all three departments of the game. After Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl first, Team India put up a total of 168 on the board with the help of the fifties from Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya which helped them recover from a poor start as well.

Meanwhile, the Indian bowlers failed to take a single wicket as Jos Buttler and Alex Hales reached the target with four overs to spare and sealed their place in the summit clash against Pakistan on Sunday as well.
