Sandeep Lamichhane is all set to play his maiden Caribbean Premier League in August. He has been signed by St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, who ended up as the runners-up last season.
Sandeep, grabbed public attention when was roped into Delhi Daredevils squad in the month of January. He in turn, became the first player from Nepal to represent the cash-rich league.

He played a vital role in the ICC World Cup qualifiers as Nepal made sure to receive their ODI status by the end of the tournament. Nepal is now a part of the 16-member ICC ODI ranking since a couple of weeks.
Speaking on his maiden CPL stint, Sandeep said “I used to follow CPL from the beginning and I”ve been selected for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. It”s a big achievement for me, and again a good challenge for me ahead. I hope I”ll make it count, to play with big names, Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, it will be a good booster for me.
