Former Team India cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar has revealed his pick for India’s No.4 batsman and all-rounder for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020. Notably, Manjrekar was recently dropped from the commentary panel by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
During the time of self-isolating amid the rise of coronavirus pandemic, people are getting time to spend with themselves. Many celebrities are also using this period to engage with their fans and followers on social media platforms. Sanjay Manjrekar also organised a question-answer session on Twitter and answered on various topics.

During that session, a fan asked Sanjay Manjrekar his pick for the No. 4 Indian batsman and allrounder selection for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia later this year. The cricketer-turned commentator quickly replied Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya as his choice.
“Shreyas and Hardik respectively,” Sanjay Manjrekar wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer has cemented his berth in the limited-overs side since he was injected into the squad following India’s ouster from the ICC World Cup 2020 in England losing to New Zealand in the semifinal. The batsman from Mumbai offered consistency and lived up to the expectations and will be an obvious choice in the team.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya awaits a return to the national side. He has been out of action owing to a back injury since September last year. He was a part of India’s squad for the ODI series against South Africa; however, it was called off amid COVID-19 outbreak. He will hope to return to the game quickly and get into the groove.
