sehwag comes out in support of Sarfaraz, lashes out at trollers

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has came out to support Sarfaraz Ahmed after seeing how badly the Pakistan captain was trolled for not being able to speak fluent English at post-match press conferences.

Sarfaraz was trolled when he messed up at the press conference after South Africa game at Edgbaston on 7 June which Pakistan won. In another video he was seen asking the reporters “Sab English hai?” (All are English) just before a press conference. It seemed as if facing the reporters” questions in English seemed a tougher task for him than facing world class bowling.

Sehwag came in support of the Pakistani wicket-keeper saying his job is to play cricket which he is doing amazingly well and not to speak English. The Indian opener reminded people it is fine not to know English.

Several Pakistani players in the past have become laughing stocks because of their inability to speak fluent English. Saeed Ajmal was also in headlines recently for copying Kumar Sangakkara”s tweet. Twitterati reckoned he did so because he may not have been able to congratulate his team in English after Semifinal win against England at The Cardiff.

India lock horns against Pakistan in all important final. Even though India walk in as favorites, it is important to put the best foot forward on the big day of final and not be complacent. A mouth watering encounter awaits us at The Oval!
