This incident followed his grand wedding to Ansha, the daughter of former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, which took place on September 19 in Karachi.

The event was attended by prominent Pakistan players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and others who came to celebrate this joyous occasion.

On Shaheen Afridi’s Facebook profile, a celebratory post was shared with a couple of photos from the wedding ceremony. The caption expressed gratitude for the warm and lovely wishes, stating, “Here is to the beginning of love and laughter with the special one.”

However, it was noticed that Shaheen had mistakenly congratulated himself in the comments section of the post.This amusing blunder quickly went viral across various social media platforms, adding a touch of humor to the celebrations.

In another development on the Pakistan cricket scene, star pacer Naseem Shah will be absent from the upcoming ODI World Cup in India due to an injury sustained during the Asia Cup.

Naseem Shah had formed a formidable bowling partnership with fellow pacers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf over the past year in limited-overs cricket, making his absence a significant loss for the team.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently unveiled the 15-man squad for the 2023 World Cup.

Many of the players who had represented Pakistan in the Asia Cup have retained their spots in the squad. Seamer Hasan Ali made a noteworthy comeback to the Pakistan team, filling in for the injured Naseem Shah.

The squad comprises of Babar Azam as captain, with Shadab Khan as vice-captain. Other notable players include Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan as the wicketkeeper, and exciting talents like Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Wasim Jr.
