Former Aussie spinner Shane Warne has come up with another suggestion for the better of test cricket and cricket as a whole. A part of the commentary team fr the Australian media Fox Cricket for the first test, Warne has batted for the use of Pink ball cricket overall in test cricket. He further said that the red ball is pathetic and offers nothing to the bowlers. Pink balls are currently only used in day-night tests which became a part of cricket for the first time in 2015.

Speaking for Fox Cricket, Warne said he has been speaking about the same for the last few years but the change is yet to be made.

“I’ve been saying this for the last few years. I believe the pink ball should be used in all Test matches. Day games, not just day-night games,” Warne said on ‘Fox Cricket‘.

Pink-Ball Looks Great on TV: Shane Warne

He further said that the pink ball is easier to watch for both the players and the crowd at the stadium. It also looks great on TV.

“The pink ball, you can actually see the ball easier, crowd can see the ball easier. It generally does more than the red ball and it looks fantastic on TV. So why not use a pink ball the whole time?

Warne further said that the Pink-Ball can be changed after 60 overs if it goes sofr but volunteered for the use of it in day test matches as well.

“Maybe change it at 60 overs because it goes soft, but I’d be using the pink ball for every Test match so more of it I would say,” he added.

Meanwhile, India lost their last four wickets after adding just 10 runs to their overnight score in Adelaide. They were bowled out for 244. Australia, in their first innings, are reeling with five wickets down which includes Steve Smith.
