Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was last seen in action during the T20I series against West Indies. He played the first two games before missing the 3rd game after the BCCI granted him a 10-day break. The 33-year-old batsman looked in blazing form and also smacked a half-century in the 2nd T20I in Kolkata.

He will also miss the upcoming T20I leg against Sri Lanka, scheduled to commence on February 24. Along with Virat Kohli, wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has also been rested for the series.
