Shoaib Malik Escapes Narrow Injury After His Car Rams Onto A Truck

Former Pakistan Cricket Team skipper Shoaib Malik escaped a narrow injury after his car rammed into a truck in Lahore. Meanwhile, Malik was returning to the hotel room after attending the sixth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League draft event.

Malik, who is married to Indian tennis superstar Sania Mirza was driving a luxurious sports car that rammed into a truck in Lahore. One of the finest all-rounders to represent Pakistan cricket, Shoaib Malik lost control of his vehicle before colliding ‘head-on’ with a truck that was parked nearby a local restaurant.

Shoaib Malik escapes narrow accident

According to a report in SAMAA TV,  it has been learned that Malik tried to overtake teammate Wahab Riaz’s car when he lost control of his fancy ride. The report added that Malik tried his best to avoid the accident although his vehicle lost control before crashing into a truck on the sidewalk. Though Malik’s car was totaled, Shoaib Malik has escaped the accident unhurt.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik took to the microblogging site Twitter to inform the fans that he was fine and in perfect health. He also thanked one and all for reaching out to him asking about his well-being.

“I am perfectly all right everybody. It was just a happenstance accident and Almighty has been extremely Benevolent. Thank you to each one of you who’ve reached out. I am deeply grateful for all the love and care…” ~ Shoaib Malik,” the former Pakistani captain said in his tweet.

Meanwhile, speaking about cricket, Shoaib Malik attended the PSL super draft as Peshawar Zalmi’s representative. He represented the franchise in the last edition of the Pakistan Super League. The sixth edition of the tournament will commence from February 20 with defending champions Karachi Kings locking horns with Quetta Gladiators.

Peshawar will begin their tournament in the second game of PSL 2021 against Lahore Qalandars on February 21.
