Sourav Ganguly keen to transform NCA operations

After taking up the role of the BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly is geared up for the development of cricket at a rapid pace. He recently visited NCA, Bengaluru and had a look at the current operations going on.

Ganguly is keen on establishing NCA as one of the centres of excellence in the country. He said that the facilities will be utilized to the fullest going forward. Ravi Shastri will get a lot of time to spend at the centre to keep updated on upcoming talents.

“We will develop a new system where Ravi’s involvement is more in the NCA till the time he is the coach. Rahul is here, Paras Mambhrey is also here. Bharat Arun also goes to the NCA. We will make it a center of excellence. NCA actually does a lot of work. When you go there, you realize the hard work they put in “, said Ganguly.

Ganguly also made a visit to the newly proposed land next to the NCA to extend its facilities.

Virat is passionate about NCA – Ganguly

Speaking on the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, he said that Virat is so passionate about the NCA. He also assured that he will give his best to transform the NCA operations in days to come.

Ganguly’s appointment as the president has put a smile on a lot of faces of Indian fans. He made it clear in the first meet that his focus will mainly be on the development of domestic cricket, thus giving opportunities to deserving youngsters.
