Steve Smith was hailed as the “best Test player” of this generation by India’s star batter Virat Kohli, who also praised Australian batters.
Virat Kohli appeared in a video praising Smith prior to the start of the World Test Championship (WTC) final match against Australia.
“Steve Smith is the best Test player of this generation”, in my opinion. Virat has demonstrated that he is incredibly versatile.

“Since they are in charge of their batting lineup, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne are unquestionably their key players in the batting order”, Virat said to Star Sports.
“When Smith has faced us and England, he has consistently performed well. Because he could make a difference in the outcome of the game. You should dismiss him as soon as you can”, Kohli continued.
