Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith has named the current best captain in world cricket according to him. The Australian is in the UAE currently captaining his IPL franchise, who are not having a great run so far in the season as they’re placed in the bottom four of the table.

Despite the support of Englishmen Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes Rajasthan Royals haven’t really clicked this season. Their decision to bat Robin Uthappa in the middle order is being questioned by many as they’ve gone to lose as many as 5 matches so far in this season. In between all this, Jos Buttler and Steve Smith recently appeared in a video on Rajasthan Royals social media channels.

Eoin Morgan Has Done Well In One Day Cricket for England – Steve Smith

In that video, both Jos Buttler and Steve Smith were having a candid conversation where they asked each other some questions by each other. In one particular question, Jos Buttler asked Steve Smith who according to him is the best one day skipper as of now.

Smith replied that he thinks its England skipper Eoin Morgan since he’s done well for England in the recent time.

“Eoin Morgan maybe in one-day cricket. Obviously, he has done very well for England as I have been hearing from you and Stokesy (Ben Stokes) as well. Very well respected, great tactically on the field and yeah, I’ll go with him,” Steve Smith said, in a video uploaded on the Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals when asked about the best current captain in world cricket.
