It is down to the final match of the season as Sunrisers Hyderabad take on the Mumbai Indians at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The qualification scenario is simple for Sunrisers Hyderabad, win the match and qualify on the basis of a greater run rate than KKR as both sides would end up on 14 if SRH manages to avenge the dominant Mumbai Indians.

Let’s not expect many changes to any of the sides as Mumbai Indians would also want to get another win under their belt and remain the number one side in the tournament. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad might just want to make a couple of changes to the side’s composition in the middle. Obviously ever since Wriddhiman Saha has started opening for the SRH it has completely changed the complexion of the side.

Also with Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar scoring runs in the middle order, all looks perfectly sorted for the ‘Deccan’ based franchise. Which is why let’s take a  look at the five key players to watch out for when Mumbai Indians take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sharjah.

Let’s take a look at the five key players to watch out for when Mumbai Indians lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sharjah Cricket Stadium:

1. Jasprit Bumrah

The leader of the pace bowling attack of Mumbai Indians had a patchy start to the 2020 IPL season.  But ever since he started opening the bowling for Mumbai Indians in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Sharjah, Bumrah has looked in good mojo and expected to continue the same form going ahead in the season.

As of now, the speedster is the holder of the Purple cap ahead of Kagiso Rabada. It’s quite remarkable that Bumrah has managed to reach this mark after he started off this season in rough fashion.

2. T Natarajan

The fast bowler from Tamil Nadu who had been an excitement in the Tamil Nadu Premier League playing for the Dindigul Dragons has been a discovery for the Sunrisers Hyderabad side this year. In the absence of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, he has managed to bowl through the penultimate death overs for the Sunrisers Hyderabad side.

This year he also holds the record for executing the most number of yorkers in this season as he’s an edge above Dwayne Bravo as of now. With Natarajan at his absolute best, the Sunrisers Hyderabad must look to utilise him to his very best against Mumbai Indians.

3. Ishan Kishan

The former India U-19 captain has been in one heck of a form this season. Ever since that 99 run knock against Kings XI Punjab at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, a lot was expected of the young batsman from Jharkhand but he kept on failing.

Also ever since Rohit Sharma has been injured, Ishan Kishan has been opening the batting alongside Quinton De Kock and has gone on to notch five fifties in this season. There have instances where Ishan Kishan has single-handedly finished the match off Mumbai Indians in low scoring encounters.

4. Suryakumar Yadav

If there is one batsman who has taken the responsibility of batting through the innings for Mumbai Indians in the absence of Rohit Sharma then it surely has to be Surya Kumar Yadav.

The former batsman has looked in fine form this season and is arguably one of the best batsmen going around in the Indian circuit. Recently Ravi Shastri was in all praise for Surya and has asked him to be patient as his time in India jersey is not far away.

5. Wriddhiman Saha

The wicket-keeper batsman has changed the complexion of the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting ever since he has made a return to the side. Saha replaced Jonny Bairstow in the lineup and was eventually asked to open the innings alongside skipper David Warner.

He then went on to notch 87 runs in the very first comeback match after getting dropped early on in the season.
