Sunrisers Hyderabad play Mumbai Indians in the last league game of IPL 2020 in Sharjah on Tuesday, November 03. It is a must-win game for them to qualify for the playoffs. A loss for them will see KKR make their way through to the playoffs. So there is everything to play for SRH as they face an in-form MI, who ran through Delhi Capitals in their last game. Meanwhile, MI skipper Rohit Sharma has urged his boys to stay focus on the last game and win it comprehensively as they look to get into the playoffs.

A win in their last two games has seen Sunrisers Hyderabad stay in the mix for the playoffs spot. They registered comprehensive victories in both those games to stay alive in the contest. Against, Mumbai Indians with a playoff berth in contention, David Warner’s men would like to repeat their good work in the last two games. Most importantly they will need to choose the best XI and the perfect match-ups keeping in mind the importance of the game.

The inclusion of Jason Holder has been a brilliant addition for Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was his cameo that won them the game against RCB. His ability with the ball comes as a big plus as well. He has taken 8 wickets in the four games that he has played for the side so far. Also, Manish Pandey’s form in the middle order is a blessing for the side. He has Kane Williamson for company as the duo have done a very good job of anchoring the side so far.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have been the team to beat in this tournament. They have upped their game big time and Kieron Pollard as the stand-in skipper has been brilliant. They have already qualified for the IPL 2020 playoffs with 18 points and will be looking to win against Sunrisers Hyderabad as well.

Their bowling attack has been the best in the tournament so far. Together their pacers have taken 69 wickets in the tournament so far. They have been a difficult group to get away for the opposition batsmen and David Warner & co will find it tough as well.

Head to Head: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians

Pitch & Weather Conditions

Dew has started showing its effect in the final few games of the tournament. With Sunrisers Hyderabad needing to win this game, they will need to come out all guns blazing. If they bat first, they need to post a score of 200 plus. If they bowl first, they will need to restrict Mumbai Indians under 200. The equation is pretty simple.

Team News

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has missed the last five games for Mumbai Indians. They won all of them under Kieron Pollard. It will be interesting to see if he returns for this final league match before the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Jonny Bairstow has missed the last four games for Sunrisers Hyderabad, out of which they won three. The change regarding Bairstow was more tactical than anything else.
