India and England are facing each other in the fifth test match at Edgbaston. England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and elected to field first. Ravindra Jadeja played a brilliant knock of 104 runs in 194 balls in the ongoing test. This is the first overseas Test century in the career of Ravindra Jadeja.

Jadeja smashed 13 fours in his composed innings. When Ravindra Jadeja came to bat , the Indian team was struggling at 98 for 5 with the top order back in the pavilion. He formed a 222 run partnership with Rishabh Pant for the 6th wicket. It helped the Indian team to recover from the collapse and take them to a dominating position.

Earlier during the partnership with Rishabh Pant, Jadeja too played his shots and scored a lot of boundaries. However after the dismissal of Pant, Jadeja played safely with Tailenders with a lot of maturity. In the 79th over of the game, Jadeja smashed two back to back boundaries against Mathhew Potts to reach his Century.

Several cricket fans and experts praised Jadeja for his outstanding century. Jadeja has been in brilliant batting form since the start of 2018. He averages almost 50 in the last 4 years with the bat which also includes a century against Sri Lanka this year. Here are some of top twitter reactions:
