The other members of the staff, including head coach Stephen Fleming and assistant coach Michael Hussey, will join the squad in Dubai on August 22. Meanwhile, IPL 2020 is all set to be the longest ever as it will take place from September 19 to November 10 in the UAE. With COVID-19 cases rising in India BCCI decided to stage the league this year in UAE and has made a detailed plan for all the franchises.
All teams will stay in a bio-secure bubble and will not be able to step outside to protect them from deadly coronavirus. The IPL this year will be played across three venues which are Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Moreover for the first time, an IPL final will take place on a weekday which will be Tuesday on November 10.
