T. Natarajan was the only bowler that won hearts in the second T20I between India and Australia states, Aakash Chopra. The left-arm seamer impressed everyone once again and exhibited top-class bowling. The second T20I between India and Australia was a run-fest as every bowler travelled for runs at the SCG. 

However, T. Natarajan was a rare exception as the Australian batsman were unable to score freely against him. The average economy rate of other bowlers during the match was above 8 runs per over whereas Natarajan only gave away runs at an economy of just 5. 

T. Natarajan Looked Different From All Other Bowlers – Aakash Chopra

The new pace sensation of India looked a class apart and gave away just 20 runs in his 4 overs and picked 2 wickets. Post the match, Aakash Chopra immensely admired T. Natarajan and hailed him as the biggest positive for team India. The popular commentator also added that everyone will remember Natrajan’s splendid spell in the second T20I for a long time.

“T Natarajan was the only bowler who won hearts. It was just his second T20I match and third overall international encounter and how well he bowled. He was given one over each in four spells, he took wickets and was economical as well.

The bowlers got hit so much that we will remember Natarajan’s spell for a long time. He was looking different from all the other bowlers. He is the biggest positive from this match”, Aakash Chopra told in his Youtube channel.

Meanwhile, after India went onto win the T20I series, the man of the match Hardik Pandya too adored T. Natarajan. The Indian all-rounder admitted that Natarajan keeps it very simple that that is why he regularly picks wickets. Natarajan who was fast-tracked to international cricket after his heroics in IPL 2020, understands his strengths and executes his plans exceedingly well under pressure.
