Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer has summed Indian fans’ reaction ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 final. Australia and New Zealand will lock horns in the title decider on Sunday night at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The former cricketer once again took to Twitter to post a hilarious meme from the popular Indian television show ‘Jethalal ahead of the all-important clash. Wasim Jaffer believes Indian fans might not support Australia considering the heartbreaks they have given in the past.

Wasim Jaffer also said that Indian fans are unlikely to be fully behind New Zealand either as the Kiwis have also handed them defeats in recent ICC events.
Sourav Ganguly back New Zealand to win the T20 World Cup final
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has backed the Black Caps to win their maiden limited-overs ICC tournament in Dubai on Sunday.
“I feel it is New Zealand’s time in world sport. Australia are a great nation, but they have had a tough time for a while, though they have been a great cricketing country. New Zealand has a lot more guts and character than we see on TV. They won the World Test Championship a few months ago. It’s a small country but it’s got a lot of steel. I have the feeling that it is indeed New Zealand’s time,” said Ganguly while speaking at the 40th Sharjah International Book Fair on Saturday.
Despite their success in the longest format, New Zealand have managed to go all the way in the last two ICC ODI World Cups losing in the finals. Kane Williamson & Co will be desperate to end their barren run and lift their maiden T20 World Cup trophy.
