Team India captain Rohit Sharma visited Musheer Khan, a Mumbai Ranji Trophy player currently sidelined due to injuries from a road accident last month while traveling from Azamgarh to Lucknow.

Musheer was set to play for Mumbai in the Irani Trophy match against the Rest of India in Uttar Pradesh but was unable to participate due to a neck injury that will keep him out for at least three months. He played a crucial role in helping Mumbai win the Ranji Trophy.

Despite Musheer’s absence, his elder brother Sarfaraz Khan scored a remarkable double century, leading Mumbai to victory in the Irani Trophy last week for the first time in 27 years.

Musheer Khan shared a photo on his official Instagram account of Rohit Sharma’s visit during his recovery. The image shows Rohit posing alongside Musheer and his father, Naushad Khan. You can view the post here:

“He approaches people and asks them what they need”- Harbhajan Singh on Rohit Sharma’s leadership qualities

Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh recently discussed the man-management skills of successful Indian captains MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma, calling Rohit the “people’s captain.”

In an interview with Sportsyaari, Harbhajan stated:

“I chose Rohit above Dhoni because Rohit is people’s captain. He goes up to the people and asks them what they want. His teammates connect with him very well. But Dhoni’s style was different. He didn’t talk to anyone. He wanted to convey his thoughts through his silence. It was his way of communicating with others.”

He further added:

“The best thing is that he throughout his career, he has made a lot of friends while climbing up. He doesn’t have any enemies. All the guys are still with him and you won’t see anyone speak anything bad about him.”

Harbhajan Singh played for Chennai Super Kings under MS Dhoni and for Mumbai Indians under Rohit Sharma in the IPL.
