The Indian side will be touring Australia in the month of November for an all-format tour. After a forgettable tour to England in longer formats, Kohli and his men are trying to sort their woes in the Windies series.

But there is something interesting that is set to take place in the month of November. The fixtures of the three-match T20I series against Australia are likely to clash with warm-up games. This might force the management to have separate teams for both the formats.

It is to be noted that Shastri stressed the importance for scheduling warm-up games for the visiting side as they could accustom to the conditions better. Cricket Australia welcomed his opinion but its a question mark if it could benefit the players who represent all three formats of the game. Key players  Virat, Pandya, Bhuvi and Bumrah might have to compromise one over the other as the contingent would look to tick the boxes in the conditions.

The three-match T20I series will commence on 21st of November while the tests on December 6. Though the venues for the practice game aren”t out yet, the management would prefer the star players to get accustomed to the red ball. The primary reason behind that would be the lack of victories in longer formats in the past tours.
