Team India’s First Group Departs For The Caribbean And USA For The T20 World Cup 2024

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to commence in the West Indies and USA from June 1. Rohit Sharma will lead the team as captain, with Hardik Pandya appointed as vice-captain.

The first group of Team India‘s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to depart from India on Saturday, May 25. The BCCI shared photos on social media of several Indian players waiting to board their flight to the Caribbean and the USA.

In one photo, notable players such as Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja were spotted in the airport lounge, accompanied by batting coach Vikram Rathour and other support staff.

Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj also appeared to be in high spirits. Key player Suryakumar Yadav was seen entering the lounge, while Shivam Dube was having a conversation with head coach Rahul Dravid.
