India vs England 2021: Third Test Tickets On Sale From Valentine’s Day

The tickets for the third Test between India and England will be up for grabs from February 14, which is also earmarked as Valentine’s Day, the world over. The India-England series is poised with England leading the series 1-0 and India raring for a comeback in the second Test. The winner of the Test series will face New Zealand in the finals of the World Test Championship. They are the first team to make it to the finals of the tournament to be played in June later this year. 

The final two Tests will be played at the newly built Motera stadium in Ahmedabad. The stadium will also host five T20Is after the last two Tests. The 3rd Test between these two heavyweights will begin from February 24 onwards. Only fifty percent crowd is allowed to enter the stadium which has a capacity of 1,10,000. The online sale of the tickets will begin at 11 AM (IST) on Sunday (February 14). The tickets are priced between Rs.300 to Rs. 1000. The wickets will be available online on Book My Show.

Tickets For Third Test On Sale From February 14

In an interview with IndiaToday, Dhanraj Nathwani, the vice president of Gujarat Cricket Association, said, “We are honoured to be hosting this series after a hiatus and are excitedly looking forward to entertaining gathering of cricket fans at the world’s largest cricket stadium at Motera considering social distancing and safety norms. We hope normalcy returns soon and we get to see the stadium packed with fans cheering from all the stands for their teams.”

The newly built cricket stadium in Motera is the biggest stadium in the world at the moment. It has been recently reconstructed which will host a capacity crowd of 1,10,000. The India-England series resumed international cricket in India after post the COVID break which disrupted the entire cricket calendar. 

 England play India between February 5 to March 28 for four Tests, five T20Is, and three ODIs. Chennai will host the first two Tests. The final two Tests will be played at the newly built stadium in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad will host the T20I series followed by Pune for the ODI series.
