In response, Chepauk Super Gillies controlled 182-8, falling quickly notwithstanding fantastic contributions from Pradosh Ranjan Paul, who scored 52 off 37 balls, and D Santhosh Kumar, who added 48 off 36 balls.

Cameras stuck a spectator who retrieved the ball but humorously refused to go back it, no matter the requests from the fielders. With the conclusion of the league, the TNPL 2024 playoffs lineup has become confirmed. Lyca Kovai Kings, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, Chepauk Super Gillies, and Dindigul Dragons secured their spots. The playoffs kick off with Lyca Kovai Kings dealing with IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in Qualifier 1 at NPR College Ground on July 30. Following this, Chepauk Super Gillies will take on Dindigul Dragons within the Eliminator on July 31 at Dindigul.

The loser of Qualifier 1 gets a different chance in Qualifier 2 toward the winner of the Eliminator, scheduled for August 2 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The climax of TNPL 2024 will spread with the final on the identical venue on August 4, promising more interesting cricketing action because the competition reaches its pinnacle.
