Trent Bridge has been a happy hunting ground for Jimmy. In 2008 he picked up his career best there vs New Zealand and bowled out New Zealand cheaply for 123. England won by innings and 9 runs. James Anderson completes with Test-best figures of 9 for 98.

4. “Ball of the Year 2015” to Kriagg Brathwaite

On 21 April 2015 at Grenada, James Anderson bowled a superb delivery to knock over Kraigg Brathwaite which is regarded by many as the “Ball of the year 2015”. The ball swung in the air a long way and went through the gap between bat and pad. Well done Jimmy!!

On 17th April 2015 in his 100th test Anderson broke Sir Ian Botham”s record of 383 wickets when Denesh Ramdin edged a delivery to first slip. Anderson thus became leading wicket taker in history of English cricket.

2. First Englishman to pick 400 test wickets.

Anderson achieved the feat of becoming first English bowler to pick 400 test wickets at Headingley, Leeds on 29th May 2015. Guptill was his 400th test victim, caught by Ian Bell.

Anderson has dismissed Sachin Tendulkar 9 times which is most by any bowler. The fact that even the God Of Cricket had his troubles facing Jimmy shows Anderson”s class.
