Social Media has taken the popularity of cricket to a whole new level. The rivalries that were confined to cricket field earlier have now broke the boundaries and started on the internet. They have become so intense that fans of the rival team never miss a single opportunity to troll their opponent.

5) Ahmed Shehzad
The Pakistani batsman is a perfect lookalike of Virat Kohli if ever there was one. However, he resembles Virat only in looks. His performances have nowhere been close to Virat. He is the target of fans because of his underachievement despite having talent.
4) Shahid Afridi
The Pakistani all-rounder fondly called as Lala is a primary target of fans on Facebook. He is trolled for getting out on ducks many times in his career. Afridi has 44 ducks in international cricket (Test + ODIS + T20Is).
3) Sabbir Rahman
Ever since his statement that Bangladeshi batsmen are capable of chasing down 400-500 in ODI cricket, he has become a favourite player of fans to target on social media. While Bangladesh has shown significant progress of late, the statement was way too exaggerated and he has made himself a laughing stock.
2) Mohammad Amir
The Pakistani pacer has made himself a laughing stock after all his wrongdoings on the cricket field. After Mohammad Amir controversy when anyone gets involved in similar wrongdoing his name comes up.
1) Mushfiqur Rahim
Ever since India vs Bangladesh match on 23 March 2016, when Mushfiqur Rahim celebrated too early when 2 were needed off 3 balls, which later turned out to be a stupid move as Bangladesh lost by 1 run. Also after India”s defeat against West Indies in the semi-final of ICC World T20 2016, he posted on Facebook, “Now I can sleep in peace” This invited a lot of displeasure among fans.
