India had to win this game with a bonus point to stay in the hunt for CB series finals. That meant India had to chase down whatever target Sri Lanka set in 40 overs. To make the matters worse bowlers failed to restrict Sri Lankan batsmen. 320 was the target set for India in 40 overs. When India”s back was against the wall the champion battered Sri Lankan bowlers like a boss. It was one of the best wins in the history of Indian cricket.
