Yuvraj Singh is veteran when it comes to abbreviated versions of the game. He is the only cricketer to take a hattrick and score 50 in same match in IPL. It happened in second edition of IPL at Durban on 1 May 2009 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Yuvraj”s hattrick and 50 off 34 were not enough to win the game for his side as Punjab lost to RCB by 8 runs.
