Manish Pandey became the first Indian batsman to score IPL hundred after his 73-ball 114 vs Deccan Chargers at Centurion on 18 May 2009. Paul Valthaty was one-season wonder like many others. He announced himself on IPL scene with a 63-ball 120 vs CSK at Mohali but has faded away since then. They are the only 2 uncapped players to score hundreds in IPL.
