The decider between India and Kiwis turned out to be an epic thriller, with the home team just about manage to get over the line with their brilliant bowling performance and electric fielding. The new Thiruvananthapuram Stadium witnessed their First international game, and what a game it turned out to be, with the crowd getting a lot to cheer as home side completed their series win of 2-1 over the visitors.
The match itself was in grave danger of getting abandoned due to persistent rain but a herculean effort from the ground staff ensured that there was an 8 over the game to be played for the series decider. Kiwis put India into bat first and the batsmen struggled on bowler”s paradise where the ball was moving of the surface considerably. India only posted a modest total of 67 in their first dig but an exceptional bowling performance on a difficult pitch ensured that it was more than enough.
Twitter was going crazy as the eight an over thriller provided the perfect setting for the finale of the series. Here are all the reactions after India”s epic series win:

Defending 67 runs, India's best bowlers went for just 4-0-17-2! That's half the game there. Well bowled, @yuzi_chahal and @Jaspritbumrah93!
