Another day and another century by King Kohli, Virat Kohli played exceptional innings today at Wankhede stadium to bring up his 31st ODI century in only his 200th game. On the historic occasion of his 200th ODI Virat played with enormous grit and determination under hot and humid conditions.
Kohli came at the crease only to soon find India 3 down and in deep trouble but his sumptuous 121 assured that India posted a challenging total of 280. Twitter was in awe of his special innings which took him above legendary Ricky Ponting and only behind the master himself Sachin Tendulkar in the all-time century makers list in ODI cricket.
Superb effort to get to a ton in your 200th match, @imVkohli! A rather special innings👌 pic.twitter.com/0IDO3fwkUZ
