Once more, Rinku Singh showcased his exceptional closing skills, this instance being for Meerut Mavericks facing off against Kashi Rudras in the UP T20 League on Thursday, August 31st. Chasing 17 runs during the Super Over, Rinku impressively hit three successive sixes against left-arm spinner Shiva Singh, leading his team to a victory with just two balls remaining.

Rinku slammed the second delivery of the over over the long off boundary for a six. The left-handed batsman proceeded to make a strong connection, resulting in another maximum towards the deep mid-wicket area. He concluded the match in a stylish fashion by hitting yet another six over the long off region.

Jio Cinema posted a video on X (formerly referred to as Twitter), accompanied by the following caption: “Palak na jhapke nahi to miss hojayenge Rinku Singh ke zabardast 6,6,6. (Don’t blink your eyes, else you’ll miss Rinku Singh’s sixes)”

Following a tied match where both the Mavericks and the Rudras scored 181 runs each within their designated 20 overs, an interesting twist emerged. Notably, Rinku had only managed to accumulate 15 runs from 22 balls earlier in the contest. Although he was dismissed by Parv Singh, Rinku maintained his composure during the Super Over to guide his team to victory.

For those unfamiliar, Rinku has exhibited his ability to secure wins for his Indian Premier League team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), during the past two seasons. The 25-year-old gained widespread recognition by launching five consecutive sixes against Yash Dayal from the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023.

This feat occurred when his team needed 28 runs from the final five balls. Furthermore, he achieved the position of the top run-scorer for KKR in IPL 2023, amassing 474 runs across 14 matches.
