The second ODI between India and windies has been moved to Visakhapatnam. The distribution of complimentary tickets created a conflict between MPCA and BCCI and this prompted the latter to change the venue from Indore. The match will be played at Dr. YSR stadium, Vizag on October 24.
A recent update from MPCA stated its concerns regarding the gallery tickets to BCCI officials. According to reports, BCCI had demanded extra tickets for the Pavilion gallery which was refused by the state cricket board. This tussle between the boards has led to the change in the venue and the further details regarding the same are awaited.
MPCA isn”t in a mood to change its mind after BCCI had demanded 10% of the hospitality tickets to satisfy its partners and sponsors. This would evantually result in lesser tickets for the state association members and their related bodies.
Windies will lock horns with the number 2 ODI side after the test series. A five-match ODI series can certainly help both the teams to formulate their playing XI before the world cup 2019.
