Royal Challengers Bangalore yet again disappointed their fans as they failed to qualify for the playoffs. Death bowling concerns, Fielding, inexperienced in the middle order costed the team and their hunt for the first title continues.
Meanwhile, their skipper Virat Kohli felt sorry for the fans for the dismal display of skills on the field. He posted a video on his social media and mentioned that the team”s performance really “hurt” everyone in the camp. He also admitted that the things really didn”t go well and promised to give the audience what they wanted in the next edition of the IPL.
Virat scored over 530 runs in this edition with a high score of 92 against the Mumbai Indians. The squad was entirely dependent on AB and Kohli and that really was a burden on them to lead the side to victory in most of the matches. In the bowling department, Umesh Yadav exhibited brilliant display of pace in the initial overs and picked over 20+ scalps this year.
I really believe in the concept of, "you either win or you learn". We fought hard and gave it our all but one thing is for sure, next season we definitely will bounce back stronger than ever with our learnings from this season.

Though Brendon Mccullum and Quinton de Kock were roped into the squad they warmed the bench in the second half. The camp will be really looking forward to clinching the maiden title next year.
The RCB franchise also replied to Kohli”s tweet. The tweet read “We”re hurt by what happened. We”ll do everything in our ability to give you what you want and are grateful to you turning out and supporting #RCB every year.”
